My name is William Adrian Reinig, but most people known me by Will or Billy. I am currently enrolled at Iowa State University with an intended major in Political Science and two minors. I was born in Washington D.C. to two deaf parents and lived in Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina before finally settling in Iowa when I was about 3 years old. My parents divorced shortly after moving to Iowa and I lived with my father in the very small, rural town of Panama Iowa. After attending a small private Catholic school I moved in with my grandparents and attended Harlan Community High School. While there I developed a flair for writing, poetry, acting, soccer, and most of all public speaking. I actively pursued all public speaking outlets even going so far as to work at a local radio station and in the summer of 2009 I attended the National BPA conference and became the extemporaneous speech National Champion. Hobbies of mine include video games, reading, spontaneous acts of cleaning, surfing the web, and shooting the breeze with friends. The value I place most highly in my life would be that of honor and I strive to live my life by such a code. I can frequently by heard talking about the finer points of video games, politics, or South Park and often quoting famous individuals. My two favorite quotes being: "It's not who's going to let me, it's who's going to stop me" - Ayn Rand "If you know your enemy and you know yourself you need not fear the result of a hundred battles." - Sun Tzu |
