Hey there!
I'm Joe Halvorson from a small town on Lake Michigan called Kewaunee in the great state of Wisconsin. I came to Iowa State University to study Meteorology in a place where the weather is very intriguing.
Besides studying the weather and chasing storms, I enjoy playing sports (football being my favorite), hanging with my friends, checking out cafes, listening to kickin' tunes (big fan of alternative), going to concerts, cheering on the Jets, Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and of course my Iowa State Cyclones!
I also have a strong desire to travel. I have had the travel bug ever since I went to Munich, Germany back in high school. I hope to someday (SOON) travel Europe with nothing but a backpack and a rail pass.
I like to think I'm a very approachable, friendly person who will try to go out of my way to help other people. I'm always interested in meeting new people and creating new friendships so I hope we cross paths soon! |
